MC Hammer is taking the IRS to court over a ruling that found him liable for nearly 800-thousand-dollars in back taxes.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the rapper is appealing the result of an IRS lawsuit against him and his wife for back taxes from 1996 and 1997.
A judge later ruled that Hammer's future earning would go straight to the government, but Hammer argues that the ruling should be voided because the matter was settled during a bankruptcy agreement.
The emcee's attorney also questions whether the government made a mistake in going after his money in light of his bankruptcy case.
