Rock The Bells to continue ODB hologram plans despite widow's objections

Listen to ODB on iHeartRadio

Plans to resurrect the late rapper ODB via hologram will go on as planned, despite complaints from ODB's widow - Icelene Jones.  Jones apparently objected to being left out of the plans to portray her late husband as a hologram alongside the late Eazy-E at this fall's Rock The Bells hip-hop music festival.

Contrary to reports that Jones had filed a cease and desist order against concert organizer Guerilla Union, company president Chang Weisberg tells Radio.com that the hologram is "absolutely going to happen."  In fact, he says neither Guerilla Union nor Rock The Bells have received any order to stop the hologram's production.

While Weisberg says he's aware that Jones is unhappy about the production, he also points out that she has reached out to ODB's Wu-Tang Clan partner RZA, who will be performing alongside ODB's hologram. He adds that the two parties are currently "working through" their issues.

This year's Rock The Bells music festival begins on September 7th and 8th in San Bernardino, California.  The two-day fest will also make stops in Mountainview, California on September 14th and 15th; Washington, D.C. on September 28th and 29th; and Rutherford, New Jersey on October 4th and 5th.  The festival will also feature performances by Black Hippy, Talib Kweli, Common, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and more.
