Kanye West's 'Yeezus' Tops Charts, J.Cole Debuts at No. 2

All hail Yeezus. Kanye West returns to reclaim his throne atop the Billboard 200 as his sixth album debuts at No. 1. But J. Cole wasn’t far behind.

Yep, it's all hail Yeezus. Kayne West returns to his thrown at the top of the Billboard 200 with sixth album. The album debuts at No. 1 but J Cole was not far behind. 

The new father sold 327,000 copies of Yeezus, according to Nielsen SoundScan which marks the third-largest sale week of the year behind JT and Daft Punk. 

Even though he did debut at No. 1, the sales of Yeezus are LESS than the industry experts had initially predicted. After it's first day on sale, the album was expected to do as much as 400,000. 

However, J. Cole performed above expectations as his sophomore album, Born Sinner, landed him at No. 2 with 297,000. He surpassed his 2011 debut Cole World:The Sideline Story which entered at No. 1 with 218,000.
