Rihanna 'Diamonds World Tour' Hits Boston

Rihanna "Diamonds World Tour"

Okay, so it is clear that Rihanna does in fact need to purchase a watch.

The Barbados babe showed up at 10:30pm…about and hour and half after she was suppose to hit the stage.

With no A$AP Rocky to open the show (He had asthmatic related issues) people were getting pretty antsy listening to a DJ set from 7pm to about 9pm and then continued to wait around for an hour and half for RiRi herself.

And you can imagine that fans turned to social media to express how they felt.

BUT can we really expect anything else…she is notorious for being late to her shows, but when the people began booing around 10pm I was almost worried that people were going to walk out.

BUT as soon as the now blonde bombshell hit the stage it was an instant turn around….Who was late?

The 25-year-old superstar worked it out the gate kicking it off with 'Mother Mary,' 'Phresh Out the Runway,' and then turned up the heat with 'Birthday Cake' and 'Talk That Talk' igniting energy through the packed arena.

She debuted her look in a sexy three-piece Givenchy Couture outfit that's nothing short of sexy. Gold, leather, and bondage boots came together to create a look that seamlessly blends sportswear with high fashion.

The fashionista changed 5 times throughout the show rocking all 6 sexy outfits and we gotta give it to her…girlfriend can dress.

The middle section of the concert was definitely the most genuine musically, when Rihanna let her Caribbean roots show in a string of songs, including You Da One, Man Down and Rude Boy.

Her dance moves were sexual, per usual and the crowd went  crazy for hits like Umbrella, Rockstar 101 (complete with pyro) and Whats My Name, and stuck it out until after midnight to hear her close with the overblown ballad, 'Stay' and 'Diamonds.'

Rihanna did apologize to the Boston audience for canceling her March show and ended her hour and 45 minute set with a shout out to Boston for being #BostonStrong even representing with the Gold and Blue bow on the screen.

"They might have robbed you of your peace but they did not rob you from your dignity and I'm playing this song for you Boston," dedicating 'Diamonds' to us reminding us all to shine bright.

All in all, Rihanna may not be the best singer or dancer on the planet and might have been late but she knows how to execute a fun night.

Fan Reactions to 'Diamonds World Tour'

Shaunice & Ashley from Randolph, MA

The two girls got upgraded to front row center and were actually speechless about it. "I am just beyond excied to dance to all my favorite Rihanna songs," Shaunice said, "I love here reggae style songs and Phresh off the Runway..." And by the looks of it these girls had a amazing time.

Natasha

It was pretty obvious that everyone close to the stage was having the best time of their lives. Especially Natasha who has been a RiRi fan since day one. Natasha sat front row and we are pretty sure she knew every lyric to every song Rihanna played during her set.

Julie and Julia

These two girls were decked out in their hottest RiRi outfits and even though they were annyoed with the delay start they said "As soon as she hit the stage we realized it was worth the wait." Julie said, "It is just awesome coming to a concert and hearing all of the songs you love and with Rihanna I got to hear all of her greatest hits, It was like listening to her CD and rocking out in my car but just 100X better."
